My entry into the soaping world began out of necessity. Little

did I know when I mustered up enough courage to make my first batch, of where it would take me in life

and of what great people I would meet!

I have sensitive skin as does my mechanic hubby, who really does need a good bar of soap at the end of the day! His skin has reacted to so many ‘soaps’ on the traditional drugstore shelves (most soaps are actually detergent bars made with chemicals that are not skin-friendly). It was out of desperation that drove me to create my first ‘Plain and Simple’ batch of handmade soap. We now use each and every soap that we create, still thrilled at how happy our skin has become.

We began giving soap to family and friends with sensitive skin.

So happy with the results, this started

a journey that has not ended!
